Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd and DCS Corporation Break Ground on New Facilities
Dr. Robert Schaller, Director of St. Mary’s County Department of Economic & Community Development (DECD) will participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. and DCS Corporation’s new facilities on Thursday, October 9 at noon at 46660 Corporate Drive in Lexington Park, MD. Dr. Schaller points to this construction as proof that the defense contractors who support Patuxent Naval Air Station continue to be a valuable asset to our local economy, "The move to expand facilities for both companies speaks to the confidence these local businesses have in their ability to grow and provide more job opportunities for St. Mary’s County’s workforce, even in these uncertain times."

CEO Nancie Lumpkins and VP & Partner Rey Bald of Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. will join President /CEO James Wood, Board of Director’s Chairman Carl H. Dubac, and COO David Russell from DCS Corporation to wield gold tipped shovels marking the new construction. Currently the two companies share a building at 46660 Corporate Drive, which is owned by Millison Management. A two-story wing is being added to the existing structure. Imagine One will expand into the 8400 square foot first floor with a large conference room, offices, and secured facilities available for sensitive engineering, testing, and communications. In addition to their building at 46641 Corporate Drive, DCS Corporation will occupy the second level, which includes offices for forty engineers/managers, and two conference facilities. Construction is due to be completed in late April, 2009.

Celebrating its 10th year in business, Imagine One has experienced growth in its support to NAVAIR and SPAWAR, necessitating additional office space in Lexington Park. CEO Nancie Lumpkins credits her employees for the growth and states, "Imagine One is proud of our rapid growth and owes this success to dedicated employees providing excellent customer support."
